good news

I fixed the commenting problems. I may eliminate the pop-up window altogether but I haven't figured that out yet. At least the pop-up comments window is working now.

And a good thing too, because I made a last-minute decision: this is the site where I'm going to do Holidailies this year. I won't feel limited by one topic, and I can post photos, and it will all be very jolly. The traffic here is about to take a sharp increase from a half-dozen non-spammer readers to, well, Holidailies levels. So I didn't want anything broken or messed up, although it's still a fairly stripped-down site.

Starting Dec. 1, it's going to get a lot livelier around here!

Update: No more pop-up window for comments, thanks to a little help from my in-house web developer.
